Our very first client: a pop band on Sky1, and a website that kept pace with the show.
Every studio has a first client. Ours was Starman.
In 2010, Starman were a six-piece London pop band led by Pineapple Dance Studios teacher Andrew Stone. Sky1 was following them every week, and their manager, Rob Davies of Click Records, needed a website that kept pace with the show.
We built it on WordPress and timed it to run alongside the series. Each week as a new episode aired, fans could head straight to the site to hear the music, see the band and catch the latest news. Rob could post updates himself, so the site never fell behind the TV.
That first project set the pattern we still follow: understand who’s visiting, make the next step obvious, and leave the client in control.
